The garden has begun! I can't wait to see the harvest. And its amazing the we can grow artichokes out here. Unfortunately, our asparagus beds didn't take. So next year, we will try again. So far we have corn, brussel sprouts, squash, watermelon, broccoli, onions, cabbage and eggplants. Oh and lots of carrots. This should be an interesting season.
The spring continues here. We've had off and on again wet weather. And our pastures are growing high with local grass hay. I'm waiting to mow once the hay reseeds itself. Our little tiny goats almost disappear in the tall grasses. We will be acquiring another excellent dairy goat at the end of June. Welcome Gladdie Acres Eye Candy. I love the name, - super cute. I will update her info with a photo as soon as she comes home.
